What is the Advanced Diploma
in Islamic Studies?
This diploma intrduces the student into advanced Islamic sciences, including Arabic language, Quran sciences, hadith sciences, Islamic jurisprudence, Akhlaq (good behaviour and good character), Usool al-hadith, Usool al-Fiqh, Usool at-Tafsir and much more at an intermediary level.
How long does the course take and how much effort is required?
The entire course takes about 4 years with a time commitment of at least 10 hours a week.
The conditions you should fulfil are:

You should be at least 14 years old, there is no upper age limit.

You should be motivated, punctual and reliable.

You should already know the Arabic script.

You should have both a functioning and internet-enabled device and a stable internet connection.
Arabic
Within the two years of this course, the students learn to understand Quran and Ahadith as well as classical Islamic books
Hadith
Some important hadiths that explain the essence and the most important aspects of Islam are read, translated and explained.
Fiqh & Usool al-Fiqh
History of Fiqh and essential topics of Fiqh will be discussed according to all four madhahib (schools of law).
Furthermore, the principles and methodology of Fiqh will be adressed in Usool al-Fiqh.
Usool al-Hadith
The science of Usool al-Hadith encompasses the classification of ahadith and the interpretation of the ahadith.
Qur'an & Tafsir
The Suratul-Fatihah, Juz Tabarakalladhee, and Juz 'Amma (the last 2 parts) of the Qur'an are read, translated and explained. Important teachings for personal life are extracted from these surahs
Usool at-Tafsir
The science of Usool at-Tafsir encompasses the different brachnes of knowledge which are required to accurately interpret the Quran.
