About Madrasah Aishah

Madrasah Aishah is an Islamic educational institute that enables Muslim women, children and young people to acquire authentic knowledge about Islam in German.

Lectures, courses and, above all, an Alimiyyah programme are designed not only to impart sound knowledge and train female Islamic scholars (Alimat), but also to help them achieve an excellent character.

The lectures and classes are held by qualified scholars who are both academically and traditionally trained in all four schools of law.

The Madrasah is led and supervised by Muftiyah Mirah Malaika. She has been studying Islam for over a decade under internationally recognised and respected scholars.

Furthermore, Muftiyah Mirah is a trained and certified Islamic psychological counsellor.

Muftiyah Mirah Malaika

Muftiyah Mirah Malaika converted to Islam at the age of 20. Shortly after her conversion, she began studying Islamic studies formally.

She initially completed a Diploma in Islamic Studies at the Fanar Qatar Islamic Cultural Center, followed by a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Islamic Studies at the International Open University, studying under internationally recognized Islamic scholars. She then pursued the Alimiyyah program (scholarship studies) in England, specializing in issuing Fatwas, and completed the Takhassus (specialization) in Fiqh and Ifta (Fatwa issuing) in Lahore, Pakistan. After an excellent completion of the Ifta studies, she was granted the title of Muftiyah by senior muftis in Pakistan, qualifying her to issue Fatwas and legal rulings. Additionally, she has received several Ijazahs from prominent scholars such as Shaykh Dr. Sa'd ibn Naasir ash-Shethry, Shaykh as-Sudais, and Shaykh Dr. Salih al-Fawzan through Knowledge International University.

In addition to her studies in Islamic studies and Fiqh, Muftiyah Mirah holds a degree in Islamic psychology and several certificates in psychological counseling, psychotherapy, and Islamic pastoral care.

Since 2013, she has taught at various institutions, including as an Aqidah teacher at the International Open University (2016 - 2018, left due to maternity leave, in the Diploma program).

She is qualified to train Islamic scholars and grant them the Ijazatul-Alimiyyah.
