What is the
preparation course?

The preparatory course prepares young people and new converts for the intensive Alimiyyah study.

 

An Alimiyyah course imparts knowledge of the Arabic language, Quranic studies, Hadith studies, Islamic jurisprudence, Akhlaq (good manners and character) and much more at an advanced level. After this training, one is an Islamic scholar with a so-called Ijazah Sanad and can teach Islam independently.

How long does the course last and
how much effort do you have to put in?

The entire course takes about 1 year with a time commitment of about 5 hours a week.

If you don't have that much time, you can extend your studies and thus reduce the number of lessons.

 

This course has only one compulsory live lesson per week (Ta'leem, Tarbiyyah, Tazkiyyah).

 

You can attempt the exam every 6 months.

The requirements you should meet are as follows:

  • You should be at least 10 years old, with no upper age limit.

  • You should be motivated, punctual, and reliable.

  • You should already know how to read Arabic script. If you cannot yet read and write Arabic, you can learn it here.

  • You should have a functional, internet-enabled device and a stable internet connection.

Arabisc

Introduction to the basics of Arabic language and linguistics. We start with simple sentences and vocabulary and slowly build up to longer sentences.

teachings of Islam

 

The most important principles and teachings of Islam, as well as some important du'as and sayings are explained and memorized here.

Hadith

 

Some important hadiths that explain the essence and most important aspects of Islam are read, translated and explained.

Qur'an & Tafsir

The Suratul-Fatihah and Juz 'Amma (the last part) of the Qur'an are read, translated and explained. Important teachings for personal life round off these lessons.

The course fee is based on the number of teaching hours, the intensity of personal support as well as the country of residence. This results in the following tuition fees:
